Welsh Cup
Qualifying Round 1 of the JD Welsh Cup (full list) has mysteriously thrown up a lot of local derbies, but I’m not complaining as it makes it easier to compile the first entry to The Cardiff Football Guide.
Cardiff Corinthians v Canton Liberal. Both of these clubs are in tier 4.

Canton Rangers v Aberystwyth Exiles. This match is between tier 5 and tier 7. Exiles are also a Cardiff based club, in case you were wondering.
Clwb Cymric v Bridgend Street. This match is between tier 5 and tier 4.
Docks Albion v AFC Whitchurch. This match is between tier 7 and tier 5.
Fairwater FC v Ely Rangers. This match is also between tier 7 and tier 5.
St Albans FC v Chepstow Town FC. Tremorfa side St Albans are in tier 6 and face strong opposition from the visitors from tier 3.
As always, check the clubs’ social media pages before travelling in case there have been changes to kick-off times or dates.
